Red Rock Alameda will be having one 15's and one 16's team practicing out of Red Rock Alameda.
Sam Howard will be head coaching the 15's team. Sam has been coaching 15's for the past two seasons. In this last season, he led the team to a top-10 finish in Gold Division at Far Westerns Qualifier and finished off the season at Power League Regionals with a 5-1 record. We look forward to another great season with Sam.
Our 16's team which will be coached by Ashia Joseph and assisted by Elizabeth Waters-Liega. Ashia is the Cal State East Bay assistant coach and has been coaching with Red Rock Alameda for many seasons. Liz is a recent CAL Grad where she competed as the top pair for CAL Beach Volleyball in 2023, where CAL finished 2nd in the PAC12. Ashia was also a college setter at Cal State East Bay and Liz was a standout Red Rock indoor player.
Red Rock Alameda (at Sofive) Girls Open Gyms and Tryouts
Evaluation Camps will feature more structured activities including drills and instruction before competitive play.
Open Gyms are minimally structured where athletes play for the majority of the time.
We highly recommend attending evaluation camps and open gyms before tryouts. Anyone who has an interest in playing on a Red Rock girls' indoor club team for the 2025-2026 season should meet/get to know some of our staff who will be at our summer events leading up to tryouts. Events such as Evaluation Camps and Open Gyms are an important part of the tryout and evaluation process, as it gives players and staff extra time to get to know each other.
The girls club pre/regular-season starts November 2025 and runs through May 2026. Teams in the post-season may compete through July 2026.
If you CANNOT make tryouts and want to be put on the TBD/Make-Up/Alternate list to be in the loop for updates, you can register here as well for no fee.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Current and former professional players & coaches from all levels.
Help players navigate through the recruiting process and help promote players to college coaches and universities, help with recruiting video, and help players create their college profile webpage.
Practices 2-3x a week
2 weeknight and Sun evening on non-tournament weekends
12-1, 13-2 and 14-2 will practice 2x a week, no Sundays
CLUB SEASON (6-7 months)
Practices start early in November and or to mid or late May.
Teams that qualify for Junior Nationals extend their season to early July.

The total club fee will depend on the type of team and the amount of travel involved.
Club fee ranges are as follows:*

11-1, 12-1, 13-2: $4,000-$5,500
(2-3 practices, 2-3 qualifiers)
13-1, 14-1, 14-2 $5,800-$6,900
15 Sam and 16 Ashia: $6,500

Standard payment plan is 3 monthly payments .
We offer other options as well if needed.
Financial Aid
Red Rock offers financial assistance for those who qualify as we do not want cost to be a barrier from playing volleyball. If you are in need of assistance, please contact alameda@redrockvolleyball.com
